Welcome Wagon
Request a Visit
Welcome Wagon has been a Canadian neighbourhood tradition since 1930. As a public greeting service to over 500,000 newcomers each year, Welcome Wagon representatives visit people in their homes and bring a basket full of civic information (such as maps and letters of welcome) and gifts from local businesses. In addition to greeting newcomers, representatives also visit community members at times of lifestyle change, such as new mothers and brides-to-be.
The Welcome Wagon program is an important link between South Kootenay organizations, businesses and the people they serve. Visit the national Welcome Wagon website and request a visit from our local representative.
